Pixscape is currently in public pre-release.

The runtime and documentation are already usable, but some APIs, workflows, and editor behavior may still evolve before a stable 1.0 release.

File

Create, open, import, save, and configure Pixscape Studio projects from the File menu.

The File menu contains the current project and import commands.

CommandWhat it does
NewStarts the new-project workflow after offering to save unsaved work.
Open...Opens an existing Pixscape Studio project.
Recent ProjectsOpens a recent project or clears the recent-project list.
Import > Assets...Opens the asset importer. Continue with Import assets and tilesets.
Import > Tiled map (.tmx)...Imports a supported TMX map as a scene. Continue with Import Tiled maps and tilesets.
SaveSaves the current project through Studio’s normal save workflow.
Save As...Saves the current project under a different project location or name.
Project settings...Opens the current project settings. See Project setup.
ExitRequests that Studio close, including the normal unsaved-work check.

Import, Save, Save As, and Project settings are unavailable until a project is open.
