Skeleton animation
Spine/Spriter-style workflows for richer 2D characters.
Pixscape Studio Free and Pixscape Runtime are open source under the Apache 2.0 license. Free is not a trial, a time-limited edition, or a restricted version: there are no usage limits, runtime fees, Pixscape royalties, hidden export fees, or restrictions on commercial games.
It is the public foundation of Pixscape, designed to let developers build and publish complete LibGDX games with full source access.
Pixscape Pro is planned as a separate, optional proprietary edition focused on advanced production tools. Its purpose is not to replace or weaken Pixscape Studio Free, but to make the entire project sustainable. Revenue from Pro will support full-time development, long-term maintenance, and the continued evolution of both Pixscape Studio Free and Pixscape Runtime.
Pixscape Pro will focus on advanced tools that help developers animate faster, build richer scenes, manage production workflows, and reduce repetitive work. The planned direction is speed, richer workflows, and professional convenience on top of the same open-source game-making foundation.
